From a messy brief to a clear pitch.

A good pitch begins with a decision about what your audience should understand. Start with the story, then let the slides support it.

Define the audience and the ask

Write down who will see the presentation, what they already know, and what decision you want them to make. Add the product notes, research, and evidence that support that decision.

Build the narrative first

Use Story Deck to arrange the material into a problem, a proposed approach, supporting evidence, and a next step. Read the outline without any visuals. Remove any slide that does not advance the argument.

Design around one idea per slide

Once the structure works, turn each point into a slide with a clear headline. Put supporting detail in speaker notes. Rehearse the deck aloud and revise transitions that feel abrupt.

A starting prompt

Use this brief to outline a product pitch. The audience is a potential design partner. End with a request for a pilot. Identify missing evidence before drafting slides.
